Embark on an electrifying Chinese New Year storytelling adventure, where a vibrant narrative comes alive. Join us for the joy of singing, interactive thrills, and a cultural celebration that makes every moment unforgettable!
Children will simultaneously craft mythical dragons & decorate Chinese New Year themed cookies, rotating between the two dynamic and whimsical stations.
*For under 3s, a simplified, age-appropriate craft will be provided, allowing children to complete it with the assistance of their parents.
Interactive Learning: Engage children with interactive activities, music, and games that make learning about Chinese culture fun and immersive.
Cultural Appreciation: Gain a deeper appreciation for the cultural diversity in your community by celebrating a festival from another part of the world.
Language Enrichment: Children will have the chance to enhance their language skills by immersing themselves in engaging activities that introduce them to basic Chinese vocabulary and phrases.
Memorable Experience: Enjoy a unique and memorable event that combines education, creativity, and cultural enrichment in a festive atmosphere.
The workshop will be taught by Miss Alison and a visiting teacher Miss Abby (from Bakeclouds). To find out more about her please visit About Us.
The workshop welcomes children aged 4 to 10, fostering an inclusive environment for their participation. While we highly encourage parents to join for an enhanced experience, their presence is not mandatory. Children can attend independently, allowing them to explore and engage in the workshop freely.
In addition, we warmly welcome babies and children under 3 years old to join the workshop accompanied by an adult. This inclusive approach allows families with young children to participate and create meaningful memories together.
We encourage participant to dress in traditional Chinese clothing, such as Hanfu, if you'd like. Just keep in mind that we'll be engaging in art activities and possibly some floor work during the workshop, so it's best to wear comfortable attire that allows for easy movement and participation.
As we want to ensure the well-being of all participants, we kindly ask that you notify us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions you or your child may have. Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities, and we will make every effort to accommodate your specific needs.
